We need a new layout

This forum seems a little boring, don't you think? Maybe if we give it a new layout, it'll be a little more exciting, or at least prettier.

So, are any of you good at html coding, or making graphics? If so, maybe you could make us a new layout if you have the time, or some of you could go browse the internet for layouts?
That would be SO great, I can't even tell you.
If you do find or make a layout, please either post it here or attach it in an email it to me, and if I like it, I'll use it.
Or, you could post some ideas here for me to take into consideration.

The layout MUST have something to do with Maximum Ride, and has to be in bbcode.

Arent their other layouts you can "install" on the forum that already fits it? I know most free forum sites have them available, so figured I'd ask.

There are SOME, but They're not too great. kind of weird ones, I think.

Umm, I might be able to make some little icons for the new and old posts.
But I'm not sure.
I'm not too experienced in making graphics, but it'd be nice to try.
Would there be any specific things you'd like them to have?
Like, words, pictures, colors, or something?

that would be great, actually. I'd just want it to be kind of obvious that the icon means "new posts" or something.

any colors, pics you want, just make them pretty!

right now, I'm working on a new banner for the top of our page. this one is waaaaay boring.
