Poems about water

This is a new thread for any water poems. ^-^

Here's mine:

Not once, but twice
I fail to flee,
To set my boat
And sail the seas.

Yeah, I know...my longer poems aren't really...as "rhyming"..so, yeah... =/

I made a kind of longer one about mutant apples (for a Social Studies project).

I'll post it some other time. ^-^ (I'm feeling a bit lazy right now)

I've been away from the forums for a while.. xD
(school just started again *rolls eyes*)

I guess now would be a good time to post my poem. =P

I am a mutant apple,
From the sweet orchard trees.
I fell through the air
On to the ground beyond the seas.
Alas! The bucket broke my fall,
Filled to the rim with medicine balls.
I drank the magic and filled my tummy
Even although the food was not yummy.
I survived this trial; alive and well,
So now I am a true apple,
As everyone can tell.

I call it "The Mutant Apple Pledge".

For our S.S. project, I wanted to use mutant apples as our army.
Plus, I wanted to make our teacher smile, and thus
(in language arts class, 5th period), this poem was born.

Ah, well.. that's because I had already drew a half-page + a few more apple warriors in different stances and holding a variety of weapons.

The poem was just an extra touch to make my S.S. teacher laugh. x]

and no that isnt just complete randomness. apples are in that show a lot.

Hmm, nah, I watched quite a bunch of episodes of Death Note, but it has nothing to do with it. ^^
